Will Jesus Angulo's absence hit Chivas hard? Maybe. The midfielder's performance was being great, so Ricardo Cadena will have a complicated task to replace him in El Clasico Tapatio, fact that has forced him to move his starting 11.
Pavel Perez replaced Angulo during the match against Pumas and did it as an inside-left player in the 5-3-2 formation. Sebas has a similar profile to 'Canelo', as he has good positioning between the lines, which allows the team to overcome pressure lines and transcend in the final stretch of the field.
During the end of Clausura 2022 season's regular schedule, Cadena used Roberto Alvarado on the midfield for several reasons, which gave a center forward the opportunity to be with Alexis Vega up front. If the strategy for this match is to play that way, coach Cadena could use either 'JJ' or Angel Zaldivar; both play as strikers, although this doesn't mean that they provide the same things on the field, as Macias is a specialist in definition, while 'Chelo' contributes a lot in the outskirts of the area.
