Five days away from their debut in the Apertura 2022 Tournament and aiming on getting fans spirits up, Chivas opened the doors to their practice session this Monday and surprising more than a few with the many new features presented at Verde Valle.
- Nearly 150 ChivaHermanos responded to the call to attend the first of five practice sessions prior to the match against FC Juárez.
- The Rebaño took advantage of the occasion to unveil its new training kit, which features more vivid shades of blue and red than the one from last year. The crests are all now of the same color, white, as are all the sponsor logos.
- Another novelty was that for the first time the team was able to train with the official Liga MX ball to be used during the AP22-CL23 season.
- José Juan Macías worked on his own and received attention in the kinesiology area, recovering from a blow to his right knee.
- Roberto Alvarado wore a face mask during training, having had a case of the flu; prior to training, he tested negative for Covid-19.
- At the end of practice, the team went out to a meet and greet with the fans making sure that everyone could get their autographs and a souvenir photo with ChivaHermanos.
