Despite the complicated soccer moment that Chivas is going through, the week prior to the Clásico Tapatío is different at El Rebaño's training headquarters, so after Friday's intense practice, Ricardo Cadena announced the list of 21 players considered for the game against the Rojinegros, including some new additions.
After several weeks out of action, Sergio Flores returns to a Guadalajara call-up, so he or 'Lalo' Torres could take the place of 'Oso' González, who was suspended during the game in Mazatlán.
Another absentee on the list of eligible players is Antonio Briseño, who was injured in training and will be out of action for a few weeks.
These are 21 Chivas on the roster ahead of the Clasico Tapatio:
Goalkeepers: Miguel Jiménez, Raúl Rangel.
Defenders: Miguel Ponce, Alan Mozo, Hiram Mier, Luis Olivas, Gilberto Orozco, Jesús Sánchez, Carlos Cisneros, Cristian Calderón, Gilberto Sepúlveda.
Midfield: Eduardo Torres, Fernando Beltran, Sergio Flores, Pavel Perez, Sebastian Perez Bouquet, Isaac Brizuela.
Forward: Alexis Vega, Ángel Zaldívar, Roberto Alvarado, Santiago Ormeño.
