Guadalajara U16 gave another demonstration of why they were the best team of the Apertura 2022 in the category by showing great form in beating Monterrey 2-0 in the Semifinal duel played this Saturday in Verde Valle, thus maintaining their perfect pace in the Liguilla and will now have the opportunity to seek their third title against Toluca, who eliminated Santos in the other match of this stage.
The match was very even from the opening whistle, but as time passed, the Rebaño showed superiority against Rayados, who played with great intensity, especially in the first half. After the first goal, the Chiverío took control of the match and in the final part sealed their pass to the final with a great play by Kevin Parra.

24' Iván Martínez recovered a rebound inside the box and with a half-turn defined cross to the right post to open the scoreboard.
85' Kevin Parra increased the advantage for the Red and White team at 85', as he took the ball on the left flank, made a diagonal towards the center in which he eluded 3 opponents and from the halfway line, fired a shot that went inside the post to make the score 2-0.
