The player of the match was undoubtedly Oziel Melchor, as the red and white goalkeeper was very timely with his interventions and repeatedly prevented Pumas from extending the lead they had throughout the complement of the match.
Goals:
- Chivas took the lead at 1' via David Madrigal, who was very alert from the start of the match and scored the goal that gave the Universitarios an early start.
- The Felino team evened the score at 64' thanks to Héctor Guzmán, who took advantage of a rebound in the box and sent the ball into the back of the net with his right foot.
