- At 42', the home side equalized via Alan Bautista, in a give and go with a teammate, then entered the area, cut back to Diego Delgadillo and coolly shot to the base of the right post.

And how did the U18s fare?
When it seemed that El Rebaño would win for the first time in the competition, a couple of defensive lapses took their toll on them in the final stretch of the match and they ended up drawing 2-2 against Pachuca this Saturday morning at the Universidad del Futbol facilities, a result that left them in 14th place in the table with 6 points.
The Goals
- Chivas opened the account at 11', after Gibran Ortiz recovered the ball at the Tuzos' start and sent a search into the area that Gael Camarena controlled, he gave the ball to Carlos Corona, who left Guillermo Gallardo alone in front of the goal and although the goalkeeper managed to save the ball, it remained alive and after a series of rebounds, Gael finally sent it into the back of the net.
- El Rebaño extended its advantage on the scoreboard at 28', when Gibran Ortiz surprised defender Alejandro Pablo by stealing the ball in front of the goalkeeper and then simply pushed it into the goal.
- The home side got closer to the scoreboard at 89' when Rodolfo González headed in a corner kick inside the six-yard box.
- The final equalizer came in stoppage time, when José de Ávila took advantage of a ball that was left alive in front of the goal and struck it with a first-time shot that hit the right post, impossible to save due to its power.
