Chivas U18s made their home pitch advantage count against Santos Laguna

This Saturday was a good day at Verde Valle, as both Chivas Subs defeated their counterparts from Santos Laguna, in matchday 10 of the Clausura 2023; while the Under-20s won by the minimum difference, the Under-18s did the same but by 2-0. We’ll tell you all about it and share the videos of the goals of both red and white triumphs.

Under 20
It was a complicated match, but the Rebaño were able to solve it with a good game play and defensive order; thus, the team from Guadalajara remains the general leader of the category with 23 points. Next matchday, the Chiverío will be visiting Puebla.

The goal worth the three-points:
- 8' From a corner kick, Diego Delgadillo won the ball over the top and with an accurate header sent the ball into the back of the net.

Late in the match, Guadalajara U18s, in addition to showing their superiority over Los Laguneros, proved that they are still on the rise in the competition by going on their third match without having a defeat. Curiously, both teams missed a penalty kick. The additional point from the penalty kicks went to the locals and with it they climbed to ninth place with 16 units.

The goals:
- 51' Yael Padilla took a free kick from the left, Diego Ochoa 'combed' the ball to the near post and that was enough for it to enter the Santista goal.

- In added time, Hugo Camberos was fouled inside the area, and he capitalized on the penalty with a shot to the goalkeeper's left.
