Chivas Subs beat Rayos with epic comebacks

It was a great morning for the Chivas Subs at Verde Valle, as both the 18 and 20 teams came from behind to beat their Necaxa counterparts by the same score of 2-1.

With these results, El Rebaño U-20 team remains in the fight for the top spot in the table with the same 30 points as América, while El Chiverío U-18 team moved into the battle for a ticket to the Liguilla with 27 points, placing them in seventh place overall.

- The visitors took the lead in the 22' through Miguel Pedroza, who took advantage of a through ball to shoot inside the box past Eduardo García.

- El Rebaño equalized at 44', after Ever Corona reached the end line and put in a cross to the far post that Daniel Villaseca sent home with a cross-shot that beat the goalkeeper.

- Chivas consummated the turnaround at 62', when Gael García converted a penalty kick with a shot to the center.

- With some luck, the Rayos opened the scoreboard at 41', as the defense deflected Edgar Carmona's shot from the front of the net and the ball went into the goal near the right post.

- At 86', El Chiverío tied the score thanks to the genius of Andrew Martínez, who received a defensive rebound in the half-moon area and, without thinking twice, pulled the trigger to send the ball into the cage.

- El Rebaño consummated the turnaround in stoppage time, as Diego Modesto made the penalty kick valid with a left-footed cross that completely fooled the goalkeeper.
