The duel between Chivas and Cruz Azul, which will experience a new episode this Saturday night at the Akron Stadium, is plagued with countless anecdotes, anthology goals, spectacular matches and emotional moments, which is why we are going to present 10 moments that every ChivaHermano should know about this rivalry.

- El Rebaño Sagrado and the Máquina Celeste faced each other in the 1986-87 season's Grand Final. The capital side won the first leg 2-1 at the Azteca, but the team coached by Alberto Guerra put on one of those unforgettable displays in the second leg and with goals from Fernando Quirarte and a brace from 'Yayo' de la Torre won 3-0 to give Chivas the ninth championship in their history.

- An authentic feat by Guadalajara took place in the 2003 Clausura play-offs, after losing 4-1 in the first leg at the Azul Stadium and going behind in the second leg with an early goal by Francisco Palencia, Chiverío's fighting spirit boiled over and managed a comeback with goals by Joel Sánchez, Omar Bravo, Johnnie García and Jair García to advance to the next phase.

- The match between the two teams was a real treat on Matchday 13 of the 2004 Clausura at the Jalisco Stadium. César Delgado opened the score at 2', Alfonso Sandoval equalized at 6', 'Chelito' made it 1-2 at 15', Marcelo Delgado scored the 1-3 at 48', Ramón Morales started the local reaction by making it 2-3 at 55', Adolfo Bautista scored the 3-3 at 56' and 'Bofo' himself made it 4-3 at 69' to give Chiverío an incredible victory.

- Bofo' Bautista is known for scoring great goals against Cruz Azul. In that CL04 duel, his first goal was a low shot and the second a 'balloon'; on matchday 11 of CL06, he scored a volley to give El Rebaño Sagrado the victory and in the first leg of the AP06 Quarter-Finals, he sent the ball into the back of the net after a pirouette shot with his back to Oscar Pérez's goal.

- Another of the tapatío team's home comebacks against the Celestes took place on Matchday 10 of the 2012 Clausura. Emanuel Villa had given the visitors the lead in the first half, but in the second half, 'Cubo' Torres scored at 88' and at 90'+5' Héctor Reynoso gave the win to the red and white team.
