An hour before the match, the Akron Stadium was a hotbed of emotions, which added to what Chivas showed on the field, turned into 90 minutes of union and thus, hand in hand, Guadalajara managed to score the goal that put them in the Semifinals of the Clausura 2023 by beating Atlas 1-0 (1-1 overall) and advancing due to the better position in the standings. Now, El Rebaño's next task will be the Clásico de México and the times for the first leg and second leg will be confirmed shortly.
The goal
- At 60', El Rebaño found the just reward for their insistence throughout the match, as 'Tiba' Sepúlveda appeared from a corner kick to send the ball home with a header that went in at the base of the right post.
