While Guadalajara's preseason for the Apertura 2023 and the Leagues Cup continues, there are moments between training sessions and activities in which we can talk to our rojiblancos about details of their lives that go beyond the field.
Recently incorporated into the Rebaño Sagrado and in the process of adapting to his new teammates and coaching staff, goalkeeper Óscar Whalley shared with us various details and curiosities about his day-to-day life, to such an extent that there was even a totally unexpected confession.
What's it all about? ChivaHermanos, let's get to know much more about the human side of our goalkeeper:
1. He loves animals, mainly dogs. In the sad note of the day, Oscar told us that his pet unfortunately passed away while he was just in the preseason last year, which undoubtedly meant a hard blow for him.
2. He is a fan of paddle tennis, both watching and playing it. He has always liked racquet sports, but during the last 3 years he has increased his love for paddle tennis.
3. His favorite food is the chili con carne that his mom cooks.
4. Whalley is a video game fanatic, playing Fortnite, Call Of Duty and League Of Legends.
5. Oscar opened his heart and told us something very personal... He is very much in love with his girlfriend and plans to marry her! So we can only wish him the best of vibes for his relationship and of course for this preseason to be very good for him and the rest of the team.
