A Great performance to beat Xolos and Chivas remains as super leader

Guadalajara is gradually regaining its level and tonight showed how to handle a match, knowing when to concede the possession of the ball, when to put the accelerator on the attack, as well as how to control its rival defensively during the 90 minutes and, although it lacked more effectiveness in front of goal to reflect their overwhelming superiority on the scoreboard, it ended up defeating Xolos 1-0 on Tuesday night at Akron Stadium, on the 5th Matchday of the Apertura 2023.

With this result, Chivas remains at the top of the Liga MX standings with 13 points, the result of 4 wins and 1 draw. Their next match will be this Saturday, August 26, at 9:05 p.m. against Santos at the TSM Stadium.

The Goal
