Chivas U23 beats Puebla and is leader of the Apertura 2023

Puebla - This morning the Angelópolis was painted Red and White, as Guadalajara's youth teams scored points in their matches against La Franja, corresponding to Matchday 13 of the Apertura 2023, and below we tell you how the events transpired at the BUAP Training Center.

Chivas U-23 showed character and confirmed their good footballing momentum by recovering from an early goal to win 1-2, a result that has placed them momentarily at the top of the standings with 27 points. Special mention must go to Armando González, who is still 'On Fire' and scored for the seventh consecutive match and continue as leader of the individual scoring standings
with 12 goals.

How were the U-23 team goals scored?
- The home side took the lead in the 6th minute when Brian Álvarez took advantage of a defensive lapse to simply push the ball into the net.
- Armando González equalized at 18' after winning a penalty kick with a low right-footed shot that deceived the goalkeeper.
- El Rebaño consummated the turnaround through Luis Ledesma, who received a bad clearance from the goalkeeper outside the box and simply shot from half distance to beat Juan Gómez.
