31/10/2023 21:25 / Omar González

Querétaro - Good work in the first half allowed Chivas to take the lead and earn a valuable 2-1 win over Gallos Blancos on Tuesday night at the Estadio Corregidora, on Matchday 15 of the Apertura 2023.

Although the end of the match was not the best, as some clear options to increase the lead were missed which allowed the home team to react, El Rebaño fought back and came away with three points that allowed them to climb momentarily to third place overall with 24 points. Guadalajara's next game will be this Sunday night at the Akron Stadium against Cruz Azul, in what will be their last home game in the regular phase of the Apertura 2023.

Goals:
- At 9' Erick Gutiérrez made his debut as a Red and White goal scorer by taking advantage of a rebound in the area, after goalkeeper Guillermo Allison rejected the ball after a Pavel Pérez shot and left the ball alive at the feet of 'Guti' who simply pushed the ball into the nets.

- At 33', Roberto Alvarado increased the lead through a penalty kick, which he made valid with a left-footed shot that deceived Allison, who committed the foul in the area on Ricardo Marín.

- At 54', Pablo Barrera scored with a penalty kick to the left side of "Wacho" Jiménez.
