It was to be expected that the first duel of the Grand Final would be one of great competitive tension, as both Chivas and Tigres tried to constantly harm their opponents, but neither team was able to capitalize on their chances and the match ended goalless, so everything will be defined in the second leg, which will take place next Saturday at El Volcán.
The game had thrills at both ends of the pitch , as on several occasions, the 'Dragon' García stretched to save the Red and White goal. On the other hand, Daniel Villaseca reached the box a lot and, on a couple of occasions, put the Feline defense to work. Chivas prioritized their short combination play, with Enrique Ledesma leading the attacks.
Another outstanding player was Mateo Chávez, who protected the left flank in an extraordinary way and also helped to protect the area from the Universitarios' approaches.
