Torreón's men from Torreón started the match with a 3-1 scoreline in Coahuila and went to the Jalisco Stadium to seal their place in the Semis. El Rebaño showed their power and won 2-0 at home to reach the Semifinals with goals from Missael Espinoza and Daniel Guzmán.
SUMMER 97 QUARTERFINALS
The Santista team sought revenge two years later. The first leg in Torreón ended in a 1-1 draw, saving the excitement for the final match. The Rebaño Sagrado swept away with a goal from Noé Zárate and braces from 'Nacho' Vázquez and Jorge Arreola, which sealed a 5-0 win for Los Tapatíos.
CLOSING 2005
El Chiverío gave a true exhibition as a home team in matchday 10 of CL05. The Chivahermanos celebrated the 5-1 win at the Jalisco Stadium, with goals from Francisco Palencia, Ramón Morales, 'Venado' Medina and two from Omar Bravo.

The Jalisco Stadium hosted a spectacular performance by Guadalajara, who showed no mercy by thrashing the Guerreros 6-2 on matchday 12 of the 2010 Bicentennial. Although the Albiverdes turned around Alberto Medina's goal, the Chiverío closed the game with goals from Omar Arellano, Héctor Reynoso, 'Chicharito' Hernández and another from 'Venado'.
