- He is 1 of only 3 Mexicans to have scored goals in 3 different World Cups. He scored 2 in South Africa 2010, 1 in Brazil 2014 and 1 more in Russia 2018.
- He is the Mexican with the most goals in the Premier League, as he scored 53 goals in total, distributed in 2 teams: 37 with Manchester United and 16 with West Ham.
- He is the active National striker with the most goals, as he accumulated 258.
