With the intention of extending their positive streak for many more matches, Guadalajara will be taking on Mazatlán this Friday at the Estadio El Encanto, in a match corresponding to matchday 7 of the Clausura 2024 of Liga MX.

How do they look coming into the match?
- Chivas has five wins this semester counting both Liga MX and Concacaf, after beating Bravos de Juárez 2-1 last weekend and Forge FC by the same margin in the middle of the week. El Rebaño is currently seventh in the league standings with 11 points.

- Mazatlán FC is coming off a 2-0 win over Atlas on matchday 6, which moved them to 12th place in the standings with 4 points.

Will there be any absentees for this Friday's match?
- Guadalajara will not br able to count on having Raúl Martínez, Gilberto Sepúlveda, Carlos Cisneros nor Javier Hernández, who are recovering from their respective injuries. In addition, Leonardo Sepúlveda will also be ineligible, as he was sent off in the match against Bravos.
