Antonio Briseño, Fernando Gago’s Iron Man

February was a challenge in every sense of the word for Chivas, as they faced double rounds in Liga MX and the First Round of the Concacaf Champions Cup, where they achieved a very positive balance of 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the 7 matches they played.

In spite of the busy schedule, there was one player who has stood out in the squad by completing the 630 possible minutes of play between the two competitions. His name is Antonio Briseño.

‘El Pollo' has become Fernando Gago's bastion in the Rebaño Sagrado's central defense, with the solidity and leadership he transmits at all times. During the second month of the year, the lineup of Mexico's most popular and beloved team was Briseño and 10 more.
