Shout it out, ChivaHermano! The first trophy of the semester arrived for Club Guadalajara, as Chivas U16 defeated their fierce city rivals 2-3 on aggregate this Sunday morning at the Jalisco Stadium field to become Champions of the Liga MX U16 Clausura 2024 Tournament.
The first half was fairly even, but it was Guadalajara who generated the most dangerous chances. Everything was under El Rebaño's control and the minutes passed with a certain calmness, until 20' when a defensive lapse opened the door for the Nextipac team.
During the second half, the level of tension that existed in both teams was evident and it was no wonder, as 45 minutes separated them from the title. The tone of the match did not change much, as El Chiverío was able to trouble the goal of the city's neighbors without success, while the rival struggled a lot to get close to Cristo Navarrete's goal.
After an impeccable soccer display with which they controlled the actions of the match, Guadalajara U16 was crowned Champion of the category and once again showed undeniable signs of the quality that exists in the best youth academy in Mexico, which gives a double flavor to the winning of the trophy.
