We are just a few days away from the start of the second edition of the Leagues Cup, where Guadalajara will seek to be a protagonist and win against the 2 tough rivals with whom they share a group: LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes. These two teams have a long history in U.S. soccer and we will now take a closer look at the history of both of them.
LA Galaxy
This team is based in Los Angeles, California and plays at the Dignity Health Sports Park. It is one of the founding teams of MLS and is one of the most successful franchises in American soccer. Throughout its history it has won 5 MLS Cups, 4 Supporters Shields, 2 Lamar Hunt US Open Cups and the 2000 Concachampions.
In fact, they are the team with the most MLS titles, followed by DC United with 4 and Columbus Crew with 3.
Many Mexicans have played for Galaxy, including Javier Hernandez, Jorge Campos, Carlos Hermosillo and Luis Hernandez. In addition, the Los Angeles team can boast of having had world stars on its roster, with David Beckham, Steven Gerrard and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

San Jose Earthquakes
This team plays in San Jose, California and its stadium is PayPal Park. It is also one of the 10 founding teams of MLS and is an old acquaintance of Chivas, as they have shared many elements. They have won 2 MLS Cups and 2 MLS Supporters Shields.
