09/11/2024 14:21 / Roberto García y Enrique Noriega

As expected, Matchday 17 was not going to be easy for the Guadalajara Subs, as Atlético San Luis is always a complicated opponent. For this reason, below we tell you what happened in the clashes between the two youth teams.

The Rebaño U-23 team split the points with a 1-1 draw against the Potosinos, which puts them in sixth place for the moment with 30 points. For their part, Chivas U19 never stopped fighting and, despite being behind on the scoreboard, managed to equalize at 89', thus closing the Regular Phase of the AP24 with 36 points, which places them in third place.

U23

Chivas U-23 drew 1-1 at the last minute against Atlético San Luis, which brought their total number of points in the Apertura 2024 to 28. Daniel Soares' team has already secured its ticket to the Liguilla, where it will face Cruz Azul.

The first goal for the Rojiblancos came early in the match, with a great recovery in the midfield that ended up at the feet of Juan Pablo Uribe, who set up Daniel Cervantes inside the area with a killer diagonal, simply for our striker's definition.

The second half became a constant battle in the midfield, where our team tried to hold on to the result, but they were left with 10 men due to the expulsion of Dylan Guajardo. In stoppage time, San Luis equalized with a deflection from Diego Abitia inside the box.
