The tournament that pits Liga MX and MLS teams against each other is back. The Leagues Cup 2025 comes reloaded, with a new competition format and for this new edition Chivas were placed in the third region of the Eastern Division.
Below, we present the dates and times for Chivas' three matches in the first phase of the binational tournament, in which we are sure they will feel at home thanks to the shelter of the Red-and-White Nation that is always present in every corner of the American Union.

What are the main changes for the Leagues Cup 2025?
- It is divided into 2 stages: the First Phase, which includes 3 matches for each participating club and will be played uninterruptedly, and the Knockout Rounds, which will take place at the same time as the eliminated teams resume activity in their respective leagues.
- New league points system: while competing on the field against teams from the other league, MLS and Liga MX clubs will have their respective Leagues Cup points table. The 4 teams that accumulate the most points in their respective league standings advance to the Knockout Rounds.
- There are no ties, so if a First Phase match ends in a tie, each club will receive one point, but a penalty shootout will be held and the winner will receive an additional unit.
- Knockout Rounds: For the Quarterfinals, the four Liga MX clubs will play each other against the MLS clubs that have advanced. In the event of a tie in regular time, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
- Leagues Cup 2025 continues to award 3 tickets to the CONCACAF Champions Cup 2026 (Champion, runner-up and third place).
- The refereeing for the matches will be determined by Concacaf and the tournament will feature VAR technology.
