The fullback joined the Guadalajara youth academy at the age of 9 and permanently demonstrated his love for the club's colors. During his formative process, the left back was part of all the categories established in the club and won several titles, among which stand out those obtained with the Under 17, Under 23 and above all those obtained with the Tapatío in the Liga de Expansión MX in CL23 and the Champion of Champions AP22-CL23.
After more than a decade of development in the Cantera Rojiblanca, the long-awaited debut with the Chivas First Team came on January 13, 2024, when he appeared as a starter with the number 50 in the match of Day 1 of the Clausura 2024 between the Rebaño and Santos. Chávez made it clear that he was going to defend the shield to the death from the very first minute of that match, as he showed determination to impose himself in the duels with the ball at his feet and showed boldness in facing the rivals to advance through the left flank and reach the back line.
