It's going to be a summer full of activity for the Mexican National Team, and as usual, the presence of Chivas in the most recent call-up list of the Tricolor is a must.
The Aztec roster for the two preparation matches prior to the 2025 Gold Cup has been announced, with three Rojiblancos in Javier Aguirre's team. Raúl Rangel, Gilberto Sepúlveda and Roberto Alvarado will be part of the Aztec squad.
Mexico will face two European rivals prior to the Concacaf tournament: first they will face Switzerland next Saturday, June 7, in Salt Lake City; then they will face Turkey in North Carolina on Tuesday, June 10. After these two matches, the official list of players who will play in the Gold Cup will be announced.
Red-and-White Note
- In addition to the 3 Guadalajara players already mentioned, Javier Aguirre called up Rojiblanco youth player Mateo Chávez, who had a great performance with Chivas since his debut in the CL24 and who recently signed for AZ Alkmaar for next season.
