After winning its two friendly matches in the Morelos Cup, Chivas continues its intense preparation for the Apertura 2025 and the Leagues Cup. For this reason, the Rebaño will travel today to Zacatecas to play the Copa por el Bienestar, a quadrangular against Santos, Cruz Azul and Mineros.
On this occasion, Gabriel Milito called up 25 players to face this challenge, who have been gaining confidence and will seek to continue polishing details, with the aim of assimilating the idea of the red and white coach and thus give fluidity to the game model.
- After concluding their commitment with the Mexican Under-20 National Team, Hugo Camberos and Yael Padilla return to the call-up list and will be able to play minutes in the Copa por el Bienestar.
- It is important to note that, due to their concentration with the Mexican National Team for the Gold Cup, Raúl "Tala" Rangel, Efraín Álvarez and Roberto "Piojo" Alvarado were not included in the call-up list.
- Javier Hernández continues to suffer from discomfort after the nasal trauma suffered in the match against Atlante, for which reason the Medical Staff recommended that he should not participate in the quadrangular in Zacatecas. His return to competition is subject to evolution.
- Luis Olivas is also not included in the call-up list, as he is still recovering from the muscle discomfort he suffered.
