The Estadio AKRON continues its improvement process to remain the most functional and beautiful stadium in our country, as well as to meet the necessary requirements to be the best venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. While the world soccer governing body focuses on general improvements in safety, the field, and the fan experience, our stadium goes even further: we are renovating the entire experience to make every visit unforgettable.
Starting this semester, many of the improvements will be tangible for Chivahermanos attending the Fortaleza Rojiblanca, so you are sure to notice the legacy that this great event will leave for everyone in our home. It is not only the new field, which meets the highest quality standards, but also a series of improvements for your benefit.
The Estadio AKRON will offer a visual experience on another level, as the giant screens located at the ends of the pitch will be enlarged and will feature the highest definition LED technology with greater brightness. In addition, the electronic billboards and internal screens located in strategic areas of the stadium, such as the main atrium, the boxes, the bathrooms, and many other spaces, will be renovated.
The audio system will also be completely replaced to provide greater clarity, sound pressure, and an immersive listening experience that will thrill all attendees.
Similarly, one of the most substantial improvements for the third World Cup event in our city will be the construction of a pair of temporary hospitality areas located in the AKRON Premier and Coca-Cola Lounge zones, which will feature immersive spaces with privileged views of the field, exclusive catering, food bars, private and accessible restrooms, as well as a design inspired by Guadalajara folklore and a premium service experience before, during, and after each match. For this reason, you will notice that these spaces will be undergoing renovation during your next visits to the stadium.

One of the renovations we are most excited about, as it is one of the most significant projects, is the new Sensory Room, a space designed for neurodivergent people or those with sensory processing disorders, such as autism or anxiety, in which we will offer them a calm, safe, and accessible environment with reduced stimulation so that they can enjoy the passion generated by the team they love. This will be the first room of its kind in a stadium in Mexico, reaffirming Club Guadalajara's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
We are also about to begin installing new signage to make information clearer by integrating universal icons and more accessible visual language, as well as greater visibility of emergency exits and security points.
Our commitment to sustainability is non-negotiable, which is why we are continuing to replace all traditional lighting with low-energy LED lighting, as well as SGL technology for sustainable pitch maintenance. We have also installed new soap and sanitary towel dispensers, with a focus on environmental care due to their materials.
The Estadio AKRON is much more than a World Cup venue; it is our home, and this renovation not only meets FIFA's requirements for the 2026 World Cup, but also responds to a much broader commitment: to provide a first-class experience for the Rojiblanca Nation and everyone who attends any event held here.
