As part of the build-up to the match corresponding to Matchday 3 of the 2025 Apertura, today we remember the biggest win in the history of the rivalry between Chivas and Atlético de San Luis, recorded in 2019 in favor of El Rebaño. In addition, this match represents a very special memory for Alan Pulido, one of the leaders of the current squad.
That day at 7:00 p.m., at Akron Stadium, the starting whistle blew for the match corresponding to Matchday 4 of the 2019 Apertura. Chivas was coming off a 1-1 draw against Puebla, and that match against San Luis represented the perfect opportunity to reaffirm themselves as a team. And that's what they did.
