What do Chivas' youth teams need to advance to the playoffs?

The final stretch of the 2025 Apertura is here, and Guadalajara's youth teams are getting ready to face their last games of the tournament and seek their ticket to the playoffs. Here's how each category is doing and what it needs to advance.

U-15 (Boys)

-The U-15 team has practically secured its place in the next round, as it leads Group 2 with 38 points and has already secured its place in the Fiesta Grande. With this, the only thing left to decide is what position it will advance in, with one game left to finish the regular season in the circuit.

Under-17 (Men)

-El Rebaño is in fifth place in its group with 21 points and has already played its 16 Regular Season games. Unable to earn any more points, the Rojiblancos are out of the circuit's playoffs.

Under-19 (Women)

-This team controls its own destiny, as it is currently third in Group 2 with 25 points and one game remaining. If it wants to secure its ticket to the playoffs, it will have to beat Rayadas in the match corresponding to Matchday 7.

Otherwise, with no action on Matchday 18, they could drop to fourth place if Tigres wins. There is a mathematical possibility of being eliminated if San Luis also wins, but they would have to do so by a margin of 16 goals, so it is practically a certainty that the Rojiblancas will be in the Fiesta Grande.

-Here, the outlook is more challenging: the Rebaño is ninth overall with 26 points, so it must win its last game to reach 29 points and stay in the fight.

What happens if it loses or ties?

-With a tie, it could only advance if Pumas loses and América or Tigres also drop points, qualifying on goal difference. If it loses, it is out of the tournament.
