It was a very busy weekend for Chivas. Over a span of 36 hours, eight teams from Mexico’s most beloved and popular club played their matches, all sharing one thing in common: every single one finished unbeaten, giving Club Deportivo Guadalajara a perfect collective weekend. Stick around, Chivahermano, as we break down each performance.

First Team

Gabriel Milito’s side made it three wins from three on Saturday at Estadio AKRON, defeating Querétaro 2–1 and retaining the top spot in the CL26 with 9 points. Guadalajara are the only team with a perfect record after Matchday 3.
Armando González and Roberto Alvarado put the finishing touches on another strong performance, as Chivas continue to confirm their excellent on-field form.

Femenil

Another Rojiblanco squad off to a strong start is Chivas Femenil, who defeated Santos 1–0 on Matchday 3 to reach 7 points in the Liga MX Femenil. Antonio Contreras’ team currently sits in 6th place, tied with three other clubs on points and separated by goal difference.

Tapatío

The young Rebaño debuted their temporary home on Friday with an exciting 4–2 win over Venados at Estadio Gregorio “Tepa” Gómez on Matchday 2. Pepe Meléndez’s side earned their first three points of the CL26, rising to the occasion in a high-level match in front of the Chivahermanos of Tepatitlán.

Sub-21

The first win of Saturday for Guadalajara came from the Sub-21 side, who defeated Querétaro 1–0 thanks to a stunning midfield goal by Carlos Corona. With that result, Luis Arce’s team reached 4 points in the CL26.

Sub-19 (Men’s)

Coached by Benny Ferreyra, the Sub-19 men’s team followed suit and matched the result of their academy teammates against Gallos. Aldrin Mariaca scored the lone goal, taking the Rojiblancos to 4 points in the tournament.

Sub-19 (Women’s)

The Rojiblancas played to a scoreless draw in the Clásico Tapatío at this level, earning their second draw of the CL26 after Matchday 2. In the post-match penalty shootout, the young Rebaño were unable to claim the extra point.

Sub-17

The Sub-17 team made it clear that Guadalajara belongs to Guadalajara, defeating Atlas 0–2 with goals from Manuel Vega and Carlos Bernal. Chivas are leaders of Group 2 with 6 points and sit second overall.

Sub-15

Finally, the youngest Chivas side also played the Clásico Tapatío, drawing 2–2 against Atlas. Goals for Guadalajara were scored by César Quintana and Ángel Coronado, though the Rojiblancos fell short in the penalty shootout for the extra point. Chivas Sub-15 have 4 points and are second in Group 2.
