Seven Guadalajara players logged minutes with the Mexican National Team on Thursday night in the international friendly against Panama, which ended in a 1–0 victory for Mexico thanks to a late goal, as part of the team’s preparation process for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Chivas’ presence was notable from kickoff, as six Red-and-White players were named in the starting lineup. Raúl Rangel guarded the national team’s goal, while Richard Ledezma and Bryan González started at right and left back, respectively. In midfield, Luis Romo provided balance and control, and out wide in attack, Brian Gutiérrez and Roberto Alvarado offered constant options to create danger.

Late in the match, Armando González came on as a substitute and also saw action in the friendly, rounding out the participation of seven Guadalajara players with the national side.

The next international commitment for Chivas’ national team representatives will be this Sunday against Bolivia, in South America, as preparation continues on the road to upcoming challenges.
