The Mexican National Team closed the international break on a positive note on its road to the 2026 World Cup, defeating Bolivia 0-1 in its second friendly match. In that game, four Chivas players featured and once again showed the strong form they are currently in.
Armando González started as the national team’s striker, providing movement, high pressing, and relentless effort in the attacking line during his 57 minutes on the pitch, serving as an offensive reference for El Tri against the South American side.
At the back, Raúl Rangel was once again a key figure. Just as in the previous match against Panama, the rojiblanco goalkeeper started and played the full 90 minutes, completing every possible minute during this international window. He also kept another clean sheet, confirming his solidity, good footwork, and high reliability between the posts for the Mexican goal.
Meanwhile, Brian Gutiérrez and Luis Romo came on as substitutes in the 74th minute. Both had started the first friendly against Panama, and on this occasion they provided balance and order in different areas of the pitch after coming on, adding valuable minutes in El Tri’s victory.
In this way, Guadalajara once again had a strong presence in the Mexican National Team, with players who continue to deliver both domestically and internationally. At the conclusion of this tour with the national team, the eight rojiblancos will return to La Perla Tapatía to rejoin training ahead of Matchday 4 of the CL26, when Chivas will visit Atlético San Luis.
