Guadalajara officially kicked off its preparations for the Apertura 2026 and Leagues Cup, as the Rojiblanco squad reported on Monday to undergo the routine medical and physical evaluations that precede the start of preseason.
As part of this process, the players attended a clinic located near La Minerva Roundabout, where they completed isokinetic testing, stress tests, echocardiograms, and baropodometry assessments. The goal of these evaluations is to determine each player's physical condition before beginning on-field training.
The assessments will continue on Tuesday at Chivas Gigantera, where the squad will undergo laboratory testing and anthropometric measurements, as well as dental and podiatry evaluations to complete each player's individual diagnostic profile.
Once all scheduled examinations have been completed, the Rebaño Sagrado will begin field training with the objective of returning to its best form ahead of the Apertura 2026 and Leagues Cup, tournaments that will begin in July and August, respectively.
