Another weekend of action came and went across Guadalajara’s youth divisions. The Cantera Rojiblanca picked up a pair of important wins and played several matches in which the teams fought for a result until the final minute.
Here are the details from our Rojiblancos’ matches against Xolos and Querétaro on Matchdays 10 and 11 of the Apertura 2026.
How Did the Cantera Rojiblanca Fare This Weekend?
Men’s U-19
The Rojiblancos hosted Querétaro on Matchday 10 and completed an impressive comeback at Verde Valle. Guadalajarafell behind early, but the team never gave up and found its response in the second half.
Joseph González stepped up in the 75th minute to level the match. Eight minutes later, Edgar Vargas completed the comeback with the decisive 2-1 goal, giving the Rebaño three important points.
With the win, the Rojiblancos reached 18 points and climbed to fifth place in the overall standings.
Men’s U-17
The U-17 side took control from the opening minutes against Xolos on Matchday 11. Guadalajara took the lead in the 16th minute when Santiago Becerra opened the scoring.
The Rebaño maintained control and continued looking to extend its lead. The reward came in the 58th minute, when Manuel Vega scored to make it 2-0, which would ultimately be the final score.
In addition to the win, the Rojiblancos recorded their third clean sheet of the tournament and reached 10 points, remaining in contention to climb the Group 2 standings.
Men’s U-21
The U-21 side played an intense match against Querétaro on Matchday 11, but the result did not go Guadalajara’s way, as the team fell 4-2 at Verde Valle.
The visitors took the lead in the 16th minute, but the Rebaño responded immediately. Just one minute later, Aarón Correa stepped up to level the match. Querétaro regained the lead with goals in the 36th and 42nd minutes. However, in the 46th minute, Anwar Ben Rhouma scored to bring the Rojiblancos within one.
Chivas pushed for the equalizer and came close on several occasions. However, Querétaro capitalized on a lapse in concentration in the 68th minute to score a fourth goal and seal the match.
Despite the defeat, Luis Arce’s side remains fifth in the overall standings with 15 points.
Women’s U-19
The Rojiblancas hosted Xolos on Matchday 11 and ultimately fell 2-1. The border side took the lead in the seventh minute, but Chivas responded before halftime. Ixchel Uscanga stepped up to level the score and send the teams into the break tied.
In the final stretch, Xolos struck again in the 87th minute to regain the lead and take all three points.
With the result, Chivas Women’s U-19 remain on 19 points and sit third in Group B.
Men’s U-15
The U-15 side also faced Xolos on Matchday 11, with the Rojiblancos falling 3-2.
Santiago López put Guadalajara ahead in the 22nd minute, but Xolos responded seven minutes later to level the match. In the 41st minute, Pablo Núñez put the Rebaño back in front with a 2-1 goal.
The lead held until the second half, but the border side found two goals, in the 61st and 90th minutes, to turn the scoreline around. Carlos Tremblay’s team looked for a response in the final minutes, but could not find the equalizer.
With the result, Guadalajara has 16 points and sits fourth in Group 2.
