The Clasico de Mexico is more than just a soccer match, starting this Tuesday, March 14th, Akron Stadium is waiting for you with a very special surprise before next Saturday's Chivas vs. America: The Clasico de Mexico exhibition.
What is it all about? It is a montage of images of iconic and representative moments of the matches between Guadalajara and the Águilas, the work of our official photographer Simon Barber, who has followed the Rebaño for more than 20 years in Mexico and around the world.
This exhibition of the Clásico de México not only presents a selection of images with some of the best moments of the rivalry, but you will also be able to transport yourself back in time through the historical front pages of the tapatío newspaper El Informador alluding to the encounter between the red and white and the blue and white.
Another of the things you'll find in this exhibit at Akron Stadium is an interactive wall with historical events and phrases from prominent figures that raised the intensity of the rivalry.
The Clásico de México Exhibit is free of admission and will be available to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting this Tuesday and continuing through the weekend.
