Guadalajara has always stood out for its permanent commitment to the training of Mexican players who are men and women of good will, who are also professionals in every sense of the word, which is why the Chivas Captains' School began this Thursday.
Amaury Vergara, president of the red and white team, along with the directors of all areas of the club, received players from various categories to formally begin this initiative, which aims to provide the necessary tools for our talents to grow in every way.
What is the Chivas Captains School?
- It is a permanent training program that seeks to enhance the personal and professional qualities of young players to help them become better leaders, both on and off the field.
- There will be talks and workshops given by the directors of the different areas of the club. The departments involved are Human Development, Sports Science, and Communication, among others.

- Thursday's talk was given by Amaury Vergara, who shared personal experiences and concepts acquired during his time as President of Chivas.
These types of workshops will be a constant feature at Chiverío, as there is a clear mission within the club: to train exemplary sportsmen and women.
