The FIFA International Day break brings Guadıalajara the opportunity to return to a place in the United States where it has created a strong bond with the Rojiblanca Nation. This Sunday they will play El Clasico de Mexico at NRG Stadium in Houston, a city already familiar to the Rebaño.
It will be the second time that Chivas and América will meet in this city, and they will do so 15 years later, after dividing points on the first date of the 2009 Interliga, in a match played at Robertson Stadium in the Texan city.
With their 16th visit to the space city, the Chiverío will be looking to get back to their best footballing form and to give their team more minutes during the Liga MX break, thus aiming to face the final stretch of the Apertura 2024 in the best possible way with the goal of repeating their direct qualification to the Liguilla, as they did in the CL24.
