This Monday marked 62 years of honoring a tradition of Club Deportivo Guadalajara. As every December 12, representatives of the red and white institution went to the Sanctuary for the commemoration of the Sportsman's Mass to thank Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe for the goodness received during 2022, as well as to entrust her with the activities that 2023 has in store for everyone.
On this occasion, it was El Rebaño Sagrado U-20 team that, on behalf of the entire club, attended this important date with 'La Morenita del Tepeyac'; players Armando González, Matías Cendejas and Diego Delgadillo took part in the Eucharistic celebration for the readings of the Holy Scriptures and the Responsorial Psalm.
In this way, Chivas reaffirmed its spiritual bond with La Virgen de Guadalupe and continued the tradition of more than 6 decades of joining in the profession of faith to which a large part of Mexicans entrust themselves on December 12 of each year.
